The Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire is the prestigious venue for the 12th Global ROI Conference. Since 1865 the hotel has occupied a central place in the life of Dublin and its southern suburb, Dun Laoghaire (formerly Kingstown). Facing the sea with uninterrupted views of Dun Laoghaire harbour the hotel was the first stop for numerous dignitaries on their arrival to Ireland from the UK. Queen Victoria dined here as have scores of Heads of State, Kings, Queens and celebrities including Fred Astaire, Laurel and Hardy (who stayed for 3 weeks) and old blues eyes himself, Frank Sinatra. The Hotel closed for a multi-million euro re-development in 2004 and re-opened on the 22nd of June 2007 for what will be a new phase in the history of this landmark hotel.

Accommodation

Bedrooms have been reserved for conference delegates at the Royal Marine Hotel. These rooms can be booked directly with the with the Conference Secretariat when you submit your conference registration.

Royal Marine Hotel 4*, Dun Laoghaire
This is the official conference hotel and the location for all conference sessions and the Gala Dinner. The Royal Marine has just reopened after being completely rebuilt, and now includes a luxury Spa and Leisure Centre. It is in the heart of Dun Laoghaire with wonderful sea views. Rates are �180 single occupancy, �195 double/twin occupancy for nights of 8th and 9th October. All other nights rates are �150 single occupancy and �165 double /twin occupancy. Rates include all taxes, Full Irish Breakfast and use of leisure facilities.

All rates are inclusive of VAT, service charge and full Irish Breakfast.

Booking Terms & Conditions
A valid credit card with expiry date after October 2008 is required to guarantee the booking. Guests will pay upon departure from the hotel.

Cancellation Terms
Bedroom reservations can be cancelled prior to 1st September with no penalty. Cancellations after 1st Sept 2008 will be subject to payment for 1 night's stay. Cancellations after 30th September will be subject to full payment for the entire booking.
